Eric enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping with his wife and two boys. He has studied Law, Psychology, Linguistics, and Computer Science at the University of Waikato. Eric is an active member of the Waikato Chamber of Commerce, the New Zealand Open Source Society, and the New Zealand Computer Society. He is currently Chairman of the Waikato Branch of the New Zealand Computer Society, and is on the organising committee for an industry-led 48-hour business startup competition in Waikato, entitled Innes48.
Jordan Schwab, BCMS (Hons)
IT Solutions Engineer

Role at Gravity
Jordan spends his time doing the real core of what we produce. His role is wide and varied, and includes aspects of Business Analysis and IT Support, but most of the time he is working hard at developing solutions for our clients. Most of his days are spent writing code and ensuring that our clients are kept in the loop and up to speed. Jordan has been with Gravity Computing since 2009, and quickly became a key contact point as our lead programmer and solutions engineer.
Background
Jordan was born in Tauranga, and was fortunate enough to grow up in beautiful Mount Maunganui. Jordan majored in Computer Science at The University of Waikato, and graduated in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences with Honours. He now works full time at Gravity Computing and is also a member of the New Zealand Open Source Society.
Roger Smith
Account Co-Ordinator and Technical Writer

Role at Gravity

His main role is to keep the accounts organised and up-to-date, but he also has a heavy hand in ensuring communications with our clients remain open. He keeps our company communicating through regular updates of our blog, Facebook page, and Twitter account. When he's not doing either the accounts or the social media, Roger is also responsible for drafting some of our technical documentation.
Background
Born in Auckland, Roger grew up in Patumahoe, south of Auckland. He is currently studying Accounting at the University of Waikato and hopes to become a Chartered Accountant. Outside of work and study, his interests include throughbred racing and computers.
